Monika's 20+ years experience in the image and hairdressing industry enables her to offer a superior standard of professional hair cutting, colouring and other hair care services. She will listen carefully to your needs, assess your features, skin tone, eye colour and hair texture including your lifestyle. Her relationship with her clients is very important to her, hence she puts a big emphasis on the initial consultation. Monika uses her wealth of knowledge and experience to create the perfect personalized style for each client.
Monika's story
Monika’s strong creativity led her to be trained initially as a make-up artist and to work in TV in her country of origin before coming to the UK. Soon after arriving in London she found herself at home in the creative millieu of the hairdressing industry. Through intensive NVQ training, her passion and dedication to the craft, she quickly progressed from a trainee to a Senior Hairstylist and Colourist.
Monika has been in the creative image industry for over 20 years now. In this time she has worked in salons in Surrey and London, including Chelsea and Belgravia and catered to a vast variety of clientele including few celebrities and a member of the Royal Family.
She assisted on and art-directed many photo-shoots and short films. Her creative touch has also reached people in Los Angeles and more recently in Singapore, where she worked on a film set as a stylist, doing hairstyling and make-up for the entire film crew. Her futuristic fashion collection worn but the actors also featured in the film.
After gaining the required skills and achieving her high professional standards in hairdressing, she went on to pursue one of her other dreams and achieved a degree in Fashion Design with distinction. This degree course further expanded her knowledge and passion for the image and fashion industry.
Monika's personal journey allows her now to share her expertise and to offer her clients a full and wide ranging set of services. This enables her clients to make the most of their appearance. She doesn't just make her clients beautiful, but she shows them that they already are .

During her degree Monika designed, developed and executed a conceptual minimalistic Sports Luxe Collection.
She manufactured six complete looks by realisation of the whole design process from an initial idea, through research for future trends, design concept, sourcing fabrics from local and international suppliers (Japan, Italy), creating patterns for the full range, making samples, developing mood boards, presentation boards and colour pallets, all the way to the final photo‐shoot and presentation of the range at a catwalk. She developed digital print designs and 2D designs using Laser Cut technology.
Monika's dissertation involved extensive research into the influence of lighting on fashion in the retail environment as a result of which she was invited to a 3–day International ‘Light in Fashion’ Conference in Eindhoven, organised by Philips HQ.
Monika also art-directed and co-produced 3 short fashion films, where she carried out all the hair and make up looks.
As a result she produced a Look Book, with images digitally edited by her.

Monika is also passionate about holistic way of living and likes to use organic products.
